Solids validation submenu
To display the Validation submenu, choose Solids > Validation.
Note: The following table describes the functions available in the Validation submenu.

| Validate object/trisolation |
Looks for errors in the DTM and marks these errors graphically, as well as writing them to the message window. You can also use this function to apply autocorrect functionality to fix errors in your DTM, and to set the validated solid as a solid or void. |
| Solids repair | Opens the Solids Repair panel. You use the panel to correct errors in your solid, and make it valid. |
| Hide all validation edges | Stops showing all highlighted validation edges. That is, stops showing the duplicate, invalid, open, self-intersecting, and reversed edges. The function name for this command is ERASE ALL VALIDATION LINES. |
| Calculate Trisolation Statistics | Calculates statistics for small, large and thin triangles in your solid. |
| Condition solids | Removes small, large and/or thin triangles in your solid. |
| Set object to solid or void | Sets the direction of all trisolations in the object to solid or void. |
| Set trisolation to solid or void | Sets the direction of the trisolation to solid or void. |
