Save section files of stopes and openings
Once loaded into Ring Design, surveyed opening and stope outlines can be edited.
To run this function: Choose Design > Ring design > Ring design > Save section files of stopes and openings, or...
Location for Survey Openings
Enter the location of the string file to which the surveyed opening (drive) outlines will be saved.
Id for Survey Openings
Enter the Id of the string file to which the surveyed opening (drive) outlines will be saved.
Location for Stope Outlines
Enter the location of the string file to which the stope outlines will be saved.
Id for Stope Outlines
Enter the Id of the string file to which the stope outlines will be saved.
Choose Apply to save the current surveyed opening and stope outlines to the specified string file(s).
If the specified file names are the same, then the drive and stope data will be appended and saved to the specified file, otherwise the data will be saved to the separate files specified.
The drive and stope layers cannot be saved to the same file as they contain strings with the same number (X)
The specified file names were the same, but common string numbers were present in the surveyed opening and stope outlines. This could cause confusion in plotting or when using the outlines in Ring Design at a later date. To correct this problem, renumber the specified string for either the surveyed opening or stope outlines and invoke the function again.
Error saving strings to file "file name"
The data could not be written to the given string file.
Results are in the file "file name"
The data were written successfully to the specified file.
There are no stopes or survey openings loaded
There are no stopes or survey openings loaded. Select SECTIONS Recall from the RING DESIGN menu to load the outlines.
Ring Design has not been Initialised
Ring Design has not been Initialised. Select Ring Design from the GRAPHICS menu to invoke Ring Design.
