Previous layer

This function allows you to make the previous layer in the list of Graphics layers become the active layer for the current viewport. This function will probably be quicker to use for this purpose than using the layers function.

To run this function: Choose View > Layer > Activate previous only, or...

  • In the Function Chooser, type PREVIOUS LAYER, and press ENTER.

Next Layer

This function allows you to make the next layer in the list of Graphics layers become the active layer for the current viewport. This function will probably be quicker to use for this purpose than using the layers function.

To run this function: Choose View > Layer > Activate next only, or...

  • In the Function Chooser, type NEXT LAYER, and press ENTER.

Previous Layer Only

This function allows you to make the previous layer in the list of Graphics layers become the active layer and the only layer displayed for the current viewport. This function will probably be quicker to use for this purpose than using the layers function.

To run this function: Choose View > Layer > View previous only, or...

  • In the Function Chooser, type PREVIOUS LAYER ONLY, and press ENTER.

Next Layer Only

This function allows you to make the next layer in the list of Graphics layers become the active layer and the only layer displayed for the current viewport. This function will probably be quicker to use for this purpose than using the layers function.

  • In the Function Chooser, type NEXT LAYER ONLY, and press ENTER.

Tip: These functions could be very useful if, for example, you loaded a series of sections into a series of layers. Then you could work from section to section very easily. If you set up your sections one each in a layer then you could use Save Workspace to keep the layer structure so that you could work on the sections with convenience.
