Initialise tablet

You use this function to initialise the digitiser for a digitising session. Initialising the digitiser includes defining the digitiser to be used.

To run this function: Choose Create > Digitiser tablet > Initialise tablet, or...

• In the Function Chooser, type DIGITISER INITIALISE, and press ENTER.

When you run this function, the Select digitiser form is displayed. After you select the digitiser you are using, DIGITISER INITIALISE calls three other functions to complete the initialisation. These are:

1. DIGITISER LOCATE MENU: Locates the digitiser menu.
2. DIGITISER TRANSFORMATION: Defines the transformation from tablet coordinates to real world coordinates.
3. DIGITISER VERIFY: Verifies that the transformation is correct.

Output

The digitiser is initialised for use, and you can start using the digitiser for input.
