Define transformation
You can use this function to define the transformation to convert the digitiser tablet coordinates to real world coordinates. You can choose to use two or three points to define the transformation. Three point transformations are useful when you are digitising on plans with different X and Y scales.

Fields on the Define transformation form

| # Points | The number of points to use for the transformation. You can choose two or three points. |
| Point 1 Y X | The coordinates of the first point. |
| Point 2 X Y | The coordinates of the second point. |
| Point 3 X Y | The coordinates of the third point. |
After you apply the form, you are prompted to digitise the transformation points in Graphics. You must digitise these points in the same order you entered them on the form.
Output
The transformation is defined so that tablet coordinates can be converted to world coordinates.
