Export to 3DVIA Composer
You can use this function to export solids and surfaces, and block model faces, to a VRML file, with a .wrl extension, in a format that Dassault Systèmes 3DVIA Composer ™ (external link) can open. This function exports data from all visible graphics layers.
More about 3DVIA Composer.
3DVIA Composer
3DVIA Composer allows you to create vivid 3D communications that explain specific points of interest about resource models, and about surface and underground mine designs. These communications allow you to draw attention to specific points of interest about the 3D data using:
- specific views of the 3D geometry, including a thumbnail image to represent each view
- an animation timeline
- annotations and other mark-up
- rights protection such as a password, and a start date and end date between which you can view the content
You can save and publish from 3DVIA Composer to several formats including:
- HTML, including a free, interactive ActiveX control that allows you to view the content from a Web page or portal
- Microsoft applications such as Word and PowerPoint, using the free ActiveX control
- PDF, using the free ActiveX control
- A fully self-contained viewer and data package that you can send to the audience by email or another file transfer method
- AVI, to which you could add voice or other sound using other video-editing software
