Surfaces validation
To display the Validation submenu, choose Surfaces > Validation.
The following table describes the functions available in the Validation submenu.

| Validate as DTM |
Set neighbours and validates all trisolations in a DTM. That is, this function looks for errors in the DTM and marks these errors graphically, and also writes the errors to the message window. |
| Display open sides for trisolation | Shows triangles with open sides in Graphics. |
| Hide all validation edges | Stops showing all highlighted validation edges. That is, stops showing the duplicate, invalid, open, self-intersecting, and reversed edges. |
| Hide invalid triangle edges | Stops showing the invalid triangle edges, highlighted by the Validate as DTM function. |
| Hide self intersection edges | Stops showing the trisolation self-intersecting triangles, highlighted by the Validate as DTM function. |
| Hide reversed triangle edges | Stops showing the reversed edges, highlighted by the Validate as DTM function. |
| Hide foldbacks | Stops showing the foldbacks, highlighted by the Validate as DTM function. |
