Interpolator setup

You use this function to create a new Interpolator parameter file (which has an .ipar file extension) or to edit an existing Interpolator parameter file. If you are modifying an exiting parameter file you can save it with the same name or of a different name.

To run this function: Choose Block model > Interpolator > Setup

If there is no previous parameter file available, leave the Input File field blank.

When you click Apply on the Select Interpolator Parameter Files form, the Interpolator form is displayed.

The Interpolator form contains 5 tabs with the data entry table on the different tabs designed to allow input of:

The rows of data entered into each of the tabbed panes are related. The column labelled Run is present in all data entry tables. The value entered for the Run column in each row must not be repeated in any of the other rows in the table. The value entered for the Run column in any of the data entry tables is copied to the Run column of all other tables.

It is recommended to use 1 for the first line and increment by 1 thereafter.

You may delete or insert rows into the tables by clicking the right mouse button on the numbered labels to the left of the data entry table.

Once a row of parameters has been entered, the value entered in the Run column will be automatically incremented as the next row is created in the table.

Up to 100 individual rows of interpolation parameters can be stored in a single parameter file.

Once you have completed the form, click Apply. This will save all Interpolator parameters on the form to the specified input file name with a .ipar extension.
