Interpolator Setup - Control Parameters

The Control Parameters are information related to input assays string files, string numbers, description fields, lock models and block model fields and constraints.

Run

Enter a unique integer value for the run number. This value is must not be repeated in the table. Ideally use 1 for the first row and increment by 1 for each subsequent row. The run number is automatically incremented when a new row is created. The run number is used to name the various report files and other output files created by Interpolator.

Use in Interpolation Run

Tick the check box to perform the estimation for the parameters defined on this row of the data entry tables.

Select Assay File

Enter the location of the assay string file that contains the sample data to be used in the estimation process.

Assay File Id

Enter the ID number of the assay string file.

Assay String Range

Enter the assay string range to be used for the grade estimation.

Assay Description Field

Enter the assay string file description field containing the relevant assay information.

Constrain Assays

Tick the check box to constrain the assays by using a block model constraint during an estimation.

Assay Constraint File

Enter the block model constraint file to be used to constrain the sample points.

Save Constrained Assays

Tick the check box to save the samples points selected by the block model constraint to another string file. This is a useful debugging aid if you want to confirm which sample points are used in the estimation process.

Constrained Assay File Loc

Enter the location of the string file in which the constrained sample points will be stored.

Constrained Assay File Id

Enter the ID number of the string file in which the constrained sample points will be stored

Block Model

Enter the block model name to be used for the estimation process. Interpolator allows you to use a different block model for each estimation run.

Block Model Field

Enter the block model attribute name for which the estimation is to be performed.

Constrain Interpolation

Tick the check box to apply a constraint to define which blocks in the model are to be used in the estimation.

Block Constraint File

Enter the name if a block model constraint file is to be used to constrain the estimation.

Domain Name

Enter a comment to be recorded in the output report document.
