Save block model data

You can save your block model data to a new block model file.

Depending on the target format you are saving, you may need to first reblock the block model.

Note: A block model can only be saved as a Datamine file if the names of the attributes do not exceed eight characters.

  1. Choose Block Models tab > Block Models group > Save As  Closedor...
    • Click the Application button , and click Save As  .

    The Save As dialog box appears.

  2. In the File name list, type a name for the new file.
  3. If you want to save the file as a different block model type, in the Save as type list, choose the type of file.
  4. Browse to the folder location to save the new file.
  5. Click Save.
