Nikon data recorders

You can use these functions to import data from the Nikon DTM400 and the Nikon AP700 data recorders. The features of the recorders that are supported by Surpac, and those that are not, are described in the following.

To run this function: Choose Survey > Data recorders > Nikon DTM400, or Survey > Data recorders > Nikon AP700, or...

In the Function Chooser, type NIKON DTM400, and press ENTER.
In the Function Chooser, type NIKON AP70, and press ENTER.

Nikon DTM400 data recorder

Note: The Nikon DTM310 and DTM400 range of instruments are supported under the title Nikon DTM400.

Download and upload functions are supported for the Nikon DTM400 data recorder.

Features NOT SUPPORTED by the Nikon DTM400/DTM310 data recorders include:

job and area names to assist when performing uploads and down loads are not supported
date values are not obtained from the data recorder
time values are not obtained from the data recorder
temperature values are not obtained from the data recorder
pressure values are not obtained from the data recorder

The data recorder file nikondtm400.dr is supplied in the SSI_ETC: directory.

Nikon AP700 data recorder

Download and upload functions are supported for the Nikon DTM700 data recorder that runs the AP700 software.

Features NOT SUPPORTED by the Nikon DTM700 data recorder include:

job and area names to assist when performing uploads and down loads are not supported
date values are not obtained from the data recorder
time values are not obtained from the data recorder
temperature values are not obtained from the data recorder
pressure values are not obtained from the data recorder

The data recorder file nikonap700.dr is supplied in the SSI_ETC: directory.
