Clear survey database
Use this function to clear all the data from all tables in an existing database, without removing the tables from your database. The result will be that the table structure within the database will remain intact, but all of the data in the table will be removed.
To run this function: Choose Survey > Survey database > Administration > Clear database, or...
Fields on the Verify clearing of database form.
This warning message is displayed to indicate that all data in the current database will be deleted.
Proceed ?
Enter `Y'es if you wish to proceed with the clearing of the selected database. Choose Apply to confirm the clearing of the current database, or Cancel to return to the SURVEYING menu.
Messages
Upon completion of this function the message
Function CLEAR SURFACE DATABASE processing completed
will appear in your message window.
Result
All data in the database will be removed, but the table structure and the files used to store data on your hard disk will be retained.
