Import Microlynx files
MICROLYNX is a software package used in the mining industry. IMPORT FROM MICROLYNX allows you to transfer Microlynx point data to Surpac string data.

The first string imported will be given a string number of 1. This will be incremented by 1 for each successive string.
The point identifier in the Microlynx points file must be stored in the first field. This identifier will be stored in the D2 field of the new string file.
The y,x and z coordinates must be stored in second, third and fourth fields of the Microlynx points file respectively.
The string identifier must be stored in (at most) the first 8 characters of the fifth field of the Microlynx points file. This identifier will be stored in the D1 field of the new string file.
Additional information may be placed in the sixth field of the Microlynx points file. This will be stored in the D3 field of the new string file.
Any information beyond the sixth field of the Microlynx points file will be ignored.
Define the ASCII Microlynx file to be converted
Points filename
Enter the full name of the Microlynx ASCII points file, including the extension, to be converted.
Define the string file to be created
Location
Enter the Location Name of the string file to be created to store the converted Microlynx points.
ID Number
Enter the ID number of the string file to be created to store the converted Microlynx points.
Result
A string file will be created from the Microlynx points file.
