Import from AutoCAD or Microstation

You use this function to open an AutoCAD (.dxf/.dwg) or Microstation (.dgn) file and import chosen layers into Surpac graphics layers. Layers in a CAD file are used to group the information in a drawing by function, and to control line-type, colour, and other settings.

To run this function: Choose File > Import > AutoCAD or Microstation file into multiple layers, or...

  • In the Function Chooser, type CAD IMPORT, and press ENTER.
