Export DTM file to DXF
In converting a DTM file to a DXF file, each triangle is stored as a 3D face, allowing hidden line and perspective views of surfaces within the CAD package.

Define the dtm files to convert
The inputs required are Location, ID range and Layer ID of the DTM files which are to be converted and the layer name for the DXF files.
You must also nominate whether to place all trisolations in the same DXF layer, or separate them into different layers. If you choose Y to separate them, the layer names will be changed to < entered layer name>_obj_< number>_tris_< number>. This way, all objects will be contained in their own layers.
Result
One DXF file is created for each DTM file in the specified range. Each DXF file will have the same Location and ID number as the DTM file from which it originated and will have a file extension of '.dxf'.
