Trisolation renumber
This function allows you to change the object number and trisolation number for a selected trisolation.
To run this function: Choose Solids > Edit trisolation > Renumber, or...
Select a triangle on the TRISOLATION to be renumbered
Position the pointer and select a triangle on the trisolation which is to be renumbered.
Selection of the trisolation will display the RENUMBER AN OBJECT TRISOLATION form.
Layer name
Display only. The name of the active layer is displayed. The active layer is the only layer you are able to modify.
Old Object
Display only. The object number of the selected trisolation which is to be renumbered is displayed.
Old Trisolation
Display only. The trisolation number of the selected trisolation which is to be renumbered is displayed.
New Object
Enter the new object number by which the selected trisolation is to be identified.
New Trisolation
Enter the new trisolation number by which the selected trisolation is to be identified.
Result
The selected trisolation is renumbered to the specified object number and trisolation number and the screen picture is updated accordingly.
The following prompt is redisplayed:
Select a triangle on the TRISOLATION to be renumbered
The TRISOLATION Renumber function will continue until it is cancelled when the following prompt is displayed:
Select a triangle on the TRISOLATION to be renumbered
Note:If the new trisolation specified already exists then the triangles in the trisolation being renumbered are added to the new trisolation. This function makes it possible to create a trisolation as a number of components which can be later merged together.

The point selected is not in the working layer and cannot be edited
Only objects which are in the active layer can be edited. You have selected an object which is not in the active layer.
