Trisolation copy
This function allows you to copy a selected trisolation of an object to a specified new object number and trisolation number.
To run this function: Choose Solids > Edit trisolation > Copy, or...
The TRISOLATION Copy command will copy a trisolation from one object and trisolation number to another object and trisolation number in the same position. The TRISOLATION Copy command will not copy a trisolation to a new position. To copy a trisolation to a new position you must first copy the strings to the new position and then recreate the trisolation.
Select a triangle on the TRISOLATION to be copied
Position the pointer and select a triangle on the trisolation that is to be copied.
Selection of the trisolation displays the COPY AN OBJECT TRISOLATION form.
Layer name
Display only. The name of the active layer is displayed. The active layer is the only layer you are able to modify.
Old Object
Display only. The object number of the selected trisolation which is to be copied.
Old Trisolation
Display only. The trisolation number of the selected trisolation which is to be copied.
New Object
Enter the new object number which will be a copy of the selected (old) object.
New Trisolation
Enter the new trisolation number which will be a copy of the selected (old) trisolation.
Choose Cancel when the COPY AN OBJECT TRISOLATION form is displayed to cancel that particular copy function and the following prompt is re-displayed:
Select a triangle on the TRISOLATION to be copied
Result
A new trisolation is created and the screen picture is updated accordingly. The message window will confirm the copy function.
Note:If the new trisolation specified already exists then the triangles in the trisolation being copied are added to the new trisolation.

Warning
The point selected is not in the working layer and cannot be edited
Only objects which are in the active layer can be edited. You have selected a trisolation which is not in the active layer.
