Split connected triangles into trisolations graphically
This function allows you to take a trisolation which consists of several distinct trisolations and split it up into its component trisolations in Graphics. You must define a new object into which the split trisolations will be copied. The input trisolation must have its neighbours set and must be valid (if either of these conditions is not met the function will give an error message and exit).
Note: Creating multiple distinct trisolations in the same trisolation number is not recommended in Surpac.
You should use this function only as a corrective measure.
To run this function: Choose Solids > Edit trisolation > Split connected triangles into trisolations graphically, or...
You are prompted to position the pointer and select a triangle on the trisolation being split.
When you select the trisolation, the Trisolation split connected results storage form is displayed.
Object number
The object number that the split trisolations are stored in. This must be a new object, that is, it cannot have the same name as any object in the current Graphics layer.
Result
If the original object contains <N> distinct trisolations these are copied into trisolations 1 to <N> of the new object.
Note: The original trisolation is not deleted and remains unchanged.

You can edit only the objects that are in the active layer. You have selected a trisolation that is not in the active layer. |

The object where you have chosen to store the result trisolations already exists in the working layer. You must choose another object number to continue. |
