Create Database
This option enables you to create a database for storing detailed information about the orebody parcels contained within each of the defined mining blocks.
To run this function: Choose Design > Graphical Sequencer > Setup > Create Database, or...
Database Structure
A Graphical Sequencer database consists of a single table - 'block' and contains the following fields and characteristics:

| id | bench or ID of the mining block file(s) |
| string | mining block string number |
| segment | mining block segment number |
| orestr | string number of the ore parcel inside the above segment |
| area | area of the ore parcel contained in the above segment |
| sg | specific gravity of the ore parcel contained in the above segment |
| thickness | thickness of the ore parcel contained in the above segment |
| vol | volume of the ore parcel contained in the above segment |
| tonnage | quantity (mass) of the ore parcel contained in the above segment |
| d1..dn | the value of all defined description fields |
There may be many records (i.e. rows) for each defined mining block - one for each ore parcel it intersects.

Database Name
Displays the name of the existing database.
The following text is also displayed on the form for your information:
All information in the database will be destroyed.
Please confirm that it is okay to OVERWRITE
the existing database by choosing APPLY - Otherwise
choose CANCEL to abort
WARNING: ALL EXISTING DATA WILL BE LOST !!!
Choose Apply to delete the specified database and create a new one. Choose Cancel to abort the process and leave the current database intact.
If you selected to overwrite the database, or if the database does not already exist, then the Choose Type of Scheduler Database form will be displayed.

Database Name
Displays the name of the database entered on the Format File and Database Specification form. See Define Format.
Database Type
Choose the database type from the available list.
A file named dbname.ddf is created after successful creation of the Graphical Sequencer database. Various other files may be created depending upon the type of database chosen.
Choose Apply to create the specified database.
