Creating a solid using Triangulate Many Segments

This procedure describes how to create a solid from a range of strings. There are several other ways this function can be used.

1. Open a string file in graphics.
For example, drag a file from the navigator and drop it into graphics.

2. Identify the range of strings you want to triangulate.
For example, from the Display menu, select Strings, then String and segment numbers.

3. From the Solids menu, select Triangulate, then Many segments.

4. Enter an object and trisolation number, and Apply the form.

5. On the next form, select Range to indicate that you want to triangulate many strings/segments. If you want to close both ends of the solid, tick the checkbox. If you choose to close the ends, you will be prompted to create a solid or a void. In the majority of cases, you will want to create a solid. Apply the form

6. On the next form, select String Range, enter the segment number (usually 1), and the range of Strings to be triangulated. Apply the form
