Map report
This function allows you to get a formatted listing of maps in the plotting library.
To run this function: Choose Plotting > Map > Report, or...
Map Name
Enter the Map names which are to be used to generate the report. The maps to be included in the report may be selected from a list by using the browser on this field. Wildcard characters may be used to report all maps which match certain requirements.
Valid wildcard characters are:
- ?, match any single character
- *, match any string of zero or more characters
- [..], match any single character from the enclosed set. For example [a-z] would match any character in the inclusive range 'a' to 'z'. If the first character after the initial bracket is the exclamation '!', then the effect of the range is negated. For example [!m-n] would match all characters other than `m' and `n'.
The wildcard characters may be combined in any combination (provided it makes sense) to define some very flexible selection criteria.
Some examples are described in the table below.
Complete the REPORT MAPS TO A TEXT FILE and choose Apply to report the specified maps to the report file.
All maps which match the wildcard specifications are saved to the report file map.rpt.
