Map edit
This function allows you to change the entity and file description components of the map. You may view, delete, alter or insert new components into the map.
To run this function: Choose Plotting > Map > Edit, or...
Map name
The name of the map which is to be modified must be entered here. The map to be modified may be selected from a list by using the browser to display a list of the map names in the plotting library.
Complete the MODIFY AN EXISTING MAP form and choose Apply to display the DEFINE A MAP form.
All parts of the map definition are displayed using this data entry form. Use the scroll bar to view all parts of the map definition and alter, delete or insert parts in the map definition.
The ROW_DELETE (control x), ROW_INSERT (control y) and ROW_APPEND (control z) buttons will be useful when modifying the map definition to add or delete new entities to a map definition.
Complete the DEFINE A MAP form and choose Apply to save the modified map definition to the plot library. If you do not wish to save your changes to the plot library choose Cancel.
The modified map definition is saved to the plot library.
