Map import
This function allows you to load map definitions from a text file. This is useful for transporting map definitions between different computers.
To run this function: Choose Plotting > Map > Import, or...
Text file name
Enter the name of the text file which contains the map definitions which are to be loaded.
Map definitions will not be loaded if a map already exists in the library with the same name.
Complete the PLOTTING MAP LOAD form and choose Apply to load the map definitions from the text file into the plot library. Only maps which do not already exist in the plot library will be loaded. Error messages will be displayed for any maps which already exist in the plot library.
The maps are loaded from the text file into the plot library. If any maps of the same name already exist in the library they will not be replaced by the maps from the text file. Furthermore, a warning message will be displayed to inform you of this fact.
