Inclined plane by dip and direction
You can use this function to create a plane using a point in your data, and a dip and dip direction.
To run this function: Choose Planes > Inclined > By dip and dip direction, or...
Fields on the Define Plane By Dip and Dip Direction form

| Northing | The Y coordinate of the point you selected. |
| Easting | The X coordinate of the point you selected. |
| Elevation | The Z coordinate of the point you selected. |

| Dip angle | The angle from the horizontal that you want to set for the dip. A positive value is above the horizontal, a negative value is below the horizontal. |
| Dip direction | The direction in which you want the plane to dip. This value must be between 0 and 360. |
Output
A plane is created at the dip angle above or below the horizontal at the point, in the dip direction specified.
