All active planes
This function toggles between VIEWPORT ACTIVE PLANE and ALL ACTIVE PLANES. The default selection is VIEWPORT ACTIVE PLANE. When VIEWPORT ACTIVE PLANE is not selected, ALL ACTIVE PLANES is active. You use ALL ACTIVE PLANES to display all of the planes that are active in any viewport in the current viewport. For example, if you have displayed two or more viewports and have activated different planes in each, and you want to display the trace of all active sections in your current viewport.
You use VIEWPORT ACTIVE PLANES to display only the plane that is active for the current viewport. For example, if you have previously displayed all active planes in the current viewport, and then want to display only the plane that is active for that viewport.
To run this function: Choose Planes > All active planes, or...
- In the Function Chooser, type ALL ACTIVE PLANES, and press ENTER.
- In the Function Chooser, type VIEWPORT ACTIVE PLANE, and press ENTER.
Output
When All active planes is selected, any plane that is active in any viewport is displayed in the current viewport.
When All active planes is not selected, which means that VIEWPORT ACTIVE PLANE has run, only the plane that is active in the current viewport is displayed.
