Load a DTM surface

You use this function to load a DTM into the 'dtm surface layer' of Graphics. The functions, EXPAND STRING TO DTM and EXPAND SEGMENT TO DTM require that a DTM exists in Graphics to successfully expand the string or segment to a DTM.

To run this function: Choose Design > Pit design > Load a DTM surface, or...

• In the Function Chooser, type LOAD DTM SURFACE, and press ENTER.

You can use this function as often as you need to load new DTMs as a pit design progresses through various levels of strata.

Fields on the Load DTM surface form

Field	Description
Layer	Display only. The name of the layer that the DTM is loaded into.
Location	The file name (and path from the working directory) for the DTM you want to load.
Object ID	The ID number of the DTM you want to load.
Trisolation ID	The trisolation number of the DTM you want to load.
Display DTM	Selected: The DTM is displayed in Graphics. Cleared: The DTM does not display in Graphics.

Output

The specified DTM is loaded in Graphics.
