Create holes at selected location
This function allows you to draw a drill hole from the current rig position.
To run this function: Choose Design > Ring design > Create holes > At selected location, or...
Digitise the new position
Digitise the position that you wish to drill the hole towards. The mast will be rotated towards the digitised position and a hole will be drilled with the correct over- or under- drill.
The prompt will remain until you choose Cancel, allowing simple manual ring design.
Adding overdrill to new holes
The specified amount of over- or under- drill is being added to the new hole.
HoleXwould breakthrough an opening and has been shortened.
The named hole crosses within the specified Break-through Tolerance (see DRILLING Parameters) of an opening.
The collar position of the new hole is too close to an existing hole.
An attempt was made to drill a hole with a collar position that was within the specified Minimum Collar Distance of an existing hole (see DRILLING Parameters). Reduce the minimum collar distance or delete the hole causing the problem.
The specified hole will not intersect the selected stope.
An attempt was made to drill a hole that did not intersect the stope outline.
The New Rig position would be located outside the Survey Opening
Warning message indicating that the mast cannot be rotated to the specified point and remain in the survey opening.
An opening has not been selected.
The hole drilling functions require that a drive has been selected to drill holes from. Select Rig Position or Move Mast to select a drive opening to drill from.
