View next section
This function recalls the next stope and surveyed opening files into Ring Design.
To run this function: Choose Design > Ring design > Ring design > View next section, or Design > Ring design > View > View next section, or...
If holes have been drilled or recalled into Ring Design, the WARNING: CLEARING HOLES form is displayed before loading the next section.
Choose Apply to clear all of the holes or Cancel to cancel the function.
If the stopes or surveyed outlines have been edited, the CONFIRM SECTION LOAD form is displayed before loading the next section.
Choose Apply to proceed to load the section or Cancel to cancel the function.
The filenames are constructed from the locations specified for each outline type and the range of sections specified in Recall Sections.
All of the holes currently loaded are deleted and the next section is loaded. If the next file does not exist, Ring Design will advance through the ID range and load the next section for which the Survey Openings file exists.
Information about the currently loaded ring is displayed in the dialog region at the bottom of the screen.
Messages
There are no stopes or survey openings loaded
The Recall Sections function has not yet been used to specify the location and ids of the files to load into Ring Design.
The current section is the last
The currently loaded stope and surveyed opening files are the last files in the specified range of sections.
Some of the points in the specified data contain < 3 Description fields
Using XYZ coordinates instead
Real world coordinates were specified as being in the first three description fields of each point, but some of the data points were found to not contain valid data in all three of these fields. Ring Design assumes that the YXZ fields contain the actual real world data and uses this data instead.
Data extent is too small for plane calculations
The surveyed openings (drive) data is used to calculate the ring plane parameters. This message implies that the specified range of strings in the specified surveyed openings file contains data which is insufficiently spaced to calculate plane information.
The specified string range contains less than three points
The surveyed openings (drive) data is used to calculate the ring plane parameters. This message implies that the specified range of strings in the specified surveyed openings file contains fewer than three points and so cannot be used to calculate plane information.
