Move hole by offsets to plane
To run this function: Choose Design > Ring design > Edit > Move hole by offsets to plane, or...
Select the hole to offset
Select the hole that is to be offset away from the working ring plane. The Offset Hole To Plane form will be displayed to allow entry of the Toe and Collar offsets.
Offset Toe Distance
Enter the distance you want the Hole Toe to be offset from the plane. Positive values move the Toe away from viewport when using the default view of the current ring. Negative values move the Toe toward the viewport.
Offset Collar Position?
Check this check box if the Collar offset is to be specified as well as the Toe. If checked, the Collar will be offset by the amount in the Offset Collar Distance field and the pivot offset will be calculated from Collar and Toe. If unchecked, the Pivot will be left stationary and the Collar Offset will be calculated from the Pivot and Toe.
Offset Collar Distance
Enter the distance you want the Hole Collar to be offset from the plane. The values entered in this field have the same effect as those entered into the Offset Toe Distance field.
Choose Apply to offset the hole, or choose Cancel to leave the hole in its initial position. Further holes may now be selected for offsetting or the function can be exited by hitting Escape.
