Move mast by graphics
This function allows you to move the mast graphically to a new position inside the current drive.
To run this function: Choose Design > Ring design > Move mast > By graphics, or...
Select and drag the drill mast
Select a point on the mast and drag the mast to the new position. Graphic feedback is provided to show the position of the mast as it is dragged.
If the new mast location is still within the survey opening and the pivot point is within the specified limits, the mast will be moved to the graphically selected position inside the current drive, otherwise it will remain where it is and a warning will be displayed in the message window.
The New Rig position would be located outside the Survey Opening
Warning message indicating that the mast cannot be moved to the specified coordinates and remain in the survey opening.
The new rig position would place the pivot point outside the reach of the rig
Warning message indicating that the mast cannot be moved to the specified coordinates as the pivot would be below the minimum height, above the maximum height or outside the lateral limits specified for the rig.
This function will repeat, allowing you move the mast until Cancel is pressed.
