End ring design

You can use this function to stop using ring design. You might end ring design to switch to using different rig parameters (defined in a different .ssi file). It is good practice to end ring design when you have finished using the ring design commands, and by doing so you remove the rig icon from the Status bar.

Prerequisites: Ring design is started. That is, you have previously run INIT RING.

To run this function: Choose Design > Ring design > Ring design > End ring design, or

• In the Function Chooser, type EXIT RING, and press ENTER.

Output

You can no longer use the ring design commands. The name of the open rig is removed from the Status bar.
