Rig properties
This function allows editing of the parameters defining a drill rig within Ring Design.
To run this function: Choose Design > Ring design > Setup > Rig properties, or...
To edit one of the available rigs listed, select the rig from the list and choose Apply to display the DEFINE RIG PARAMETERS form. The Default button makes the currently displayed rig the default rig; to save the new default for future sessions, choose Save Defaults from the RING DESIGN menu.
See Add Rig for an explanation of this form. After editing the form values, choose Apply to make the changes to the rig for the current session. To save the new rig definition for future sessions, choose Save Defaults from the RING DESIGN menu.
The New Rig position would be located outside the Survey Opening
The mast cannot be positioned entirely inside the current survey opening. Check the rig definition by using RIG Edit on the DRILLING menu.
