Interpolate list between
This is one of a number of functions which can used to interpolate and label new drill holes by selecting two existing drill holes. With this function you can select two existing drill holes (points) and enter a list of drill hole IDs on a data entry form which will then cause one or more new drill holes to be interpolated.
To run this function: Choose Design > Grade control > Hole numbering options > List holes between numbered ends, or...
Note that this function does not label the selected end points so you must enter at least one hole ID on the data entry form to permit interpolation to occur.
Select the first point
Position the cursor and select the point at which you want to start interpolating and labelling drill holes.
Select the point of interest to display the prompt:
Select the second point
Position the cursor and select the point at which you want to end interpolating and labelling drill holes.
Select the point of interest to display the GRADE CONTROL - DEFINE LIST OF HOLE IDS form.
String
Enter the string number to which each of the affected points will be assigned. The reason for defining a string number here is that in some circumstances a drill pattern may have been drilled with holes of different depths, azimuths, dips or sampling intervals. By differentiating holes with the same characteristics into different strings, the different characteristics can be easily assigned when loading the drill holes into the database.

Enter upto 30 hole IDs to label and interpolate new drill holes between the two selected endpoints. You must enter at least one hole ID to permit interpolation to occur.
This function does not use the hole formatting characteristics entered using the DEFINE HOLE ID FORMAT function. It accepts the value which you enter as the hole ID.
Note:It is not permitted to have gaps in the list of hole IDs.
Choose Apply to interpolate and label the holes. After the holes have been interpolated and labelled you will be prompted to select the first point again. The function will continue until you choose Cancel.
Any intervening points which need to be interpolated are created and labelled. Markers and labels are drawn on the screen to indicate the changes which have been made.
