Single hole

You can use this command to create a single blasthole.

To run this function: Design > Blast Design > Blast Design > Create single holes, or...

  • In the Function Chooser, type BLAST SINGLE, and press ENTER.
Fields on the Single hole parameters form

Field Description
Collar Elevation
Elevation Method The method for determining collar elevation. Options are: Fixed, Selected Point, DTM layer, DTM file.
Elevation The collar elevation. This field appears if the elevation method is Fixed.
Toe Elevation
Toe Position Method The toe position method. Options are: Set Length, Set Elevation, DTM layer, DTM file, Set to Segment, Selected Point.
Hole Length The length of all holes. This field appears if the toe position method is Set Length.
Subdrill distance The extra hole length that will be added to the specified hole length.
Hole Settings
Hole Bearing The bearing of the hole.
Hole Dip The dip of the hole.
Hole Diameter The diameter of the hole.
Blast Settings
Rock name

Select one of the rocks from the pre-defined list. The list of rock types is defined in drill and blast settings.

Pattern Identifier The pattern identifier for the holes.
Drill Rig The drill rig name.
Labelling Options
Hole ID Prefix The hole prefix string. This is added to the hole ID before incrementing the numerical part.
Hole ID Suffix The hole suffix string. This is added to the hole ID after incrementing the numerical part.
Starting Value The starting value for the incremental part of the hole ID.
Pad Hole_Id
  • Selected: Pad the numerical portion of the hole ID to a specific length.
  • Cleared: There is no padding applied to the hole ID.
Pad Length The length to pad the hole ID to.
Pad Character The character with which to pad the hole ID.

Output

Single holes with specified settings are graphically created by mouse clicks.
