Toolbars

A toolbar is a collection of icons that have related functions. Toolbars allow you to access commonly used functions directly, without the need to search through the menus. If a menu item has an icon, the function is also available on an icon on a toolbar.

To display a toolbar:

  1. Right-click to the right of the menus.
  2. From the shortcut menu, select Toolbars, and then select the toolbar name.

To hide a toolbar: 

  1. Right-click to the right of the menus.
  2. From the shortcut menu, select Toolbars, and then select the toolbar name.

or

  1. Right-click the toolbar
  2. From the shortcut menu, select Hide.

To move a toolbar:

  • Click and drag the dotted edge of a toolbar.

Note: You can drag a toolbar to 'dock' it vertically or horizontally, or 'undock' it. An undocked toolbar is also known as a 'floating' toolbar.

To restore all toolbars to their original location: 

  1. Right-click to the right of the menus
  2. From the shortcut menu, select Restore.
  3. Click Apply on the form that is displayed.
