Save area definition
This function allows you to save the parameters that define the current grid, eg grid origin and extents etc, to a Grid Model defaults file. You will find that you can build up a library of your most commonly used grids by storing several different defaults files.
To run this function: Choose Surfaces > Contouring > Contouring area > Save area definition, or...
Note: The defaults filename must be entered in the SAVE GRID DEFAULTS FILE form with the extension .ssi
Grid defaults file
Enter the location for the saved grid defaults file. You must include the extension .ssi in the field.
Processing
If an attempt is made to overwrite an existing Grid Model defaults file, a warning is displayed in the form of the VERIFY THE CREATION OF A FILE form and you are asked to confirm the overwrite.
When the new Grid Model defaults file has been successfully save the following message is displayed:
