Window in
This function allows you to enlarge a selected portion of the display. You must define a box using the pointer to select the area of the screen which is to be enlarged.
To run this function: Choose View > Window > In, or...
Point and drag to define the window box
Two different methods of defining the region of interest are available. The method employed is determined by the window_in_method option in the defaults file.
The methods available are:
- centre to corner
- corner to corner
This permits you to define the centre of the region of interest and then size the box by moving away from the centre of the region.
This permits you to define a corner (lower left or upper right) and then position the box by defining the opposing corner.
In either case, you must position the pointer depending on the method in use and then drag the pointer to define the area to be enlarged.
Note: This function remains active until you press another key or use the mouse to invoke a new function by choosing a menu button.
When you release the mouse button the portion of the screen which you have selected will be enlarged.
