Export Current layer to VRML
This function takes a graphics view (everything currently visible in a Graphics layer), and convert it to a VRML 2.0 file. This will allow the view to be placed in any Web browser (with the appropriate plug in), and placed on web pages, reports or any other internet application.
To run this function: Choose File > Export > Export to VRML, or...
Faces, edges, lines, colours and the current view will be converted to the VRML file, as will lights. The data, when viewed from a compatible browser, will look nearly identical to that displayed in Surpac.
Block Models displayed as a point cloud or regularised cloud are not exported to VRML files.
File Name
Enter the name of the VRML 2.0 file to export the data to.
Once this function is complete, this file should be readable in any VRML 2.0 capable program, or through plugins such as Cosmo Viewer (for Silicon Graphics Industries) or WorldView (from Microsoft packaged with Internet Explorer Version 5).
