String renumber

This function allows you to change the string number for all segments of a selected string.

To run this function: Choose Edit > String > Renumber , or...

• In the Function Chooser, type STRING RENUMBER, and press ENTER.

Select the string to be renumbered

Position the pointer and select the string which is to be renumbered.

The STRING Renumber function will continue until the Cancel button is pressed when the point selection prompt is displayed.

Selection of the string will display the RENUMBER A STRING form. Enter the new string number.

Layer name

Display only. The name of the active layer is displayed for your information.

Renumber string

Display only. The number of the string which is to be renumbered is displayed for your information.

to string

Enter the new number by which the string is to be identified.

All segments of the selected string are renumbered and the screen is updated accordingly.

The point selected is not in the working layer and cannot be edited 

Only points which are in the active layer can be edited. You have selected a point which is not in the active layer.

String reverse

This function allows you to reverse the existing direction of all segments of a selected string.

To run this function: Choose Edit > String > Reverse , or...

• In the Function Chooser, type STRING REVERSE, and press ENTER.

Select the string to be reversed

Position the pointer and select a point on the string which is to be reversed.

The STRING Reverse function will continue until the Cancel button is pressed.

All segments of the selected string have their direction reversed and the screen is updated accordingly.

The point selected is not in the working ayer and cannot be edited

Only points which are in the active layer can be edited. You have selected a point which is not in the active layer.
