Plan view

You use this function to see the data in plan view. A plan view is one in which the Y axis travels up the screen and the X axis travels from left to right across the screen.

To run this function: Choose View > Data view options > Plan view, or...

• In the Function Chooser, type PLAN, and press ENTER.

The view is altered to a plan view.

Section view

You use this function to see the data in section view. A section view is one in which the Z axis travels up the screen and the X axis travels from left to right across the screen.

To run this function: Choose View > Data view options > Section view, or...

• In the Function Chooser, type SECTION, and press ENTER.

The view is altered to a section view.

Long section view

You use this function to see the data in long section view. A long section view is one in which the Z axis travels up the screen and the Y axis travels from left to right across the screen.

To run this function: Choose View > Data view options > Long section view, or...

• In the Function Chooser, type LONG SECTION, and press ENTER.

The view is altered to a long section view.
