Point properties

This function allows you to select a point and display the data about that point.

To run this function: Choose Inquire > Point properties, or...

• In the Function Chooser, type IDENTIFY POINT, and press ENTER.

Position the cursor and select the point of interest.

The Identifypoint function will continue until the Cancel button is pressed.

Details about the selected point are displayed in the message window. The information displayed includes:

• Point number
• String number
• Segment number
• Y value
• X value
• Z value
• Point description

The message window is used to display the results.
