Hidden surface removal
This function allows you to turn the display attribute for hidden surface removal on. Any triobjects (DTMs) which have been drawn or strings which have been drawn as polygons may have hidden surfaces removed.
Any graphical display which would normally be hidden behind any polygons and triobjects (DTMs) will be removed from the display. The display will normally provide a more meaningful view of the data but the trade off is a longer display refresh time because of the hidden line removal calculations.
To run this function: Choose View > Surface view options > Hidden surface removal, or...
Hide off
This function allows you to turn the display attribute for hidden surface removal off.
All graphical data will be visible. The display may appear cluttered and confusing because data which should be hidden is included on the display. The advantage is a faster display redrawing time.
