Hide surface/solid
This function allows you to erase DTMs and 3DMs (solid models) in any or all layers from the graphics screen. The data is only erased from the screen, not deleted and may be redrawn at a later time if required.
To run this function: Choose Display > Hide Surface/solid, or Solids > Display > Hide Object, or...
Layer name
The name of the layer from which the data are to be erased may be entered here. The active layer is provided as the default value. You may erase data from all graphics layers by leaving this field blank.
Object range
Enter the object range that is to be erased from the screen. You may leave the range blank if you wish to erase objects in the active layer.
Trisol range
Enter the trisolation range that is to be erased from each object that will be erased from the screen. You may leave the range blank if you wish to erase all trisolations of each object.
Triangle range
Enter the triangle range that is to be erased from each trisolation that will be erased from the screen. You may leave this range blank if you wish to erase all triangles of each trisolation. The triangle numbers start at 1 for each trisolation, thus a range of "1,10" would erase triangles 1 through 10 inclusive from each trisolation specified by the above ranges.
Desc field number
This input has no effect when erasing DTMs.
Result
The specified data from the active layer are removed from the graphics screen.
