Erase polygons
This function erases polygons which have been drawn with the DRAW Polygons function.
To run this function: Choose Display > Hide strings > With colour fill, or...
Layer name
The name of the layer from which to erase the data. The active layer is provided as the default value. You can erase data from all graphics layers by leaving this field blank.
String range
The string range to be erased from the screen. The range must be a standard range specifier. You can leave the range blank to erase all strings in the layer.
Segment range
The segment range to be erased from the screen.
Seg pnt range
Enter the segment point range which is to be erased from the screen.
In the case of each of the ranges entered above, if the range is a blank then this signifies that all of a particular string, segment or segment points are to be erased. Therefore to erase all polygons simply choose Apply.
Desc field number
The entry in this field has no effect for this function.
Output
The specified strings and segments in the active layer are erased from the screen. The data is not deleted. You can draw the data at any time using any of the drawing functions.
