Save as Data file
Overview
Function:
You can use this function save the data to a file (eg a .csv file) for processing in another package (eg. Excel).
Procedure
- Choose File > Save as > Data file or click the
icon in the Basic Statistics window.

Specify the name of the report to be produced. |
| File Format |
Choose the format of the saved data.
Possible formats include:
.not - Surpac Note File,
.csv - Comma Separated (Spreadsheet),
.htm, .html - Hypertext Markup Language (Web),
.rtf - Rich Text Format (Microsoft Word),
.pdf - Adobe Acrobat,
.ps - Postscript and
.str - Surpac String File.
Selecting .str writes the data to a valid string file, however all data is written to a single segment of string 1 and only those description fields which were read in will be saved.
This option is not available if you left "Include Coordinate Graphs?" unchecked when loading the data. |

Select this check box if you wish to view the file on screen after creation or clear it to simply create the file. |
- Fill out the fields on the Save Data form.
- Click Apply.
