Load data from block model

Overview

Function:

STATS RELOAD

You can use this function to obtain statistical information on values stored in block model attributes.

If a block has a number of sub-blocks with different values for an attribute being loaded, the values will be weighted by volume, unless an SG attribute is specified, in which case the values will be weighted by mass (volume x SG).

Procedure

Choose File > Load data from block model or click the icon in the Basic Statistics window.

If you have not already loaded the block model, you will see the Closed

Select Model form.

Form Feature	Description
Block size	Select the size of the blocks of interest (the User Block is the default size).
Minimum block percentage	If constraining the model creates blocks only partially inside the constraint (and therefore smaller than the specified size), specify the percentage (by volume) of the specified block size that is required to still load data for the block.
SG attribute (optional)	If you wish to use a global volume adjustment factor (usually specific gravity), select the attribute here. All attribute values are weighted by volume to find out the correct value for the block being loaded. However, in some instances, the best way to weight values is by tonnage. This field allows you to enter an optional Specific Gravity attribute to allow the weighting to occur on tonnage rather than volume. This Specific Gravity attribute acts as the global value for weighting but can be overridden as required for each individual attribute by using the SG column in the table.
Attribute name	Select the attributes you wish to use in basic statistics.
SG attribute	This column in the table is provided to allow you to override the default SG attribute specified for the calculation for this attribute.
Constrain?	Select this check box if you wish to constrain the blocks for which values will be loaded.

Fill in the fields on the Basic Statistics form.
Click Apply to plot the frequency distribution of raw values of the first specified description field.
