Save surface boundary
You can use this function to create a string around the external limits of a DTM. The sides of all of the triangles that are on the perimeter of the DTM are joined together to form a closed string.
To run this function: Choose Surfaces > DTM file functions > Save surface boundary, or...

| Location | The name and location of the string that will contain the boundary string. |
| String number | The number for the boundary string. |
Output
A closed string is created at the external limits of the DTM.
