Extracting sections menu
The EXTRACTING SECTIONS functions allow you to extract data from a database into string files for plotting, viewing or grade calculations. The four selections available are:
- Plan Sections for Plotting
- Vertical Sections for Plotting
- Plan Sections for Calculations
- Vertical Sections for Calculations
Extracts data for specified elevations into string files that can be used for plotting or viewing. Each item selected will be written out to a specific string number in an output string file. A range of elevations can be extracted at a single time, and one string file will be created for each elevation specified.
