Compatibility issues with Microsoft™ Office and Surpac

Surpac and Office are both available in 64-bit and 32-bit editions. To use the database functions in Surpac x64, the database drivers on your computer must be compatible.

The best method for ensuring that your database drivers are correct is to use the 32-bit version of Surpac, if you are running a 32-bit version of Office, and to use the 64-bit version of Surpac, if you are running a 64-bit version of Office.

If you are running a 64-bit version of Office, but do not have Access installed, you can use the database functions in Surpac x64 after installing the 64-bit OLEDB drivers.

If you are running a 32-bit version of Office, but do not have Access installed, you can use the database functions in Surpac after installing the 32-bit OLEDB drivers.

If you do not have Office installed on your computer, you can use the database functions in either version of Surpac after installing the appropriate OLEDB drivers.

If you are running a 32-bit version of Office, you cannot use the database functions in Surpac x64. Similarly, if you are running a 64-bit version of Office, you cannot use the database functions in the 32-bit version of Surpac.
