You use this function to clear all of the data out of an existing table, without physically removing the table from your database.

Prerequisites: A database is open.

To run this function: Choose Survey > Survey database > Administration > Clear table, or Database > Database > Administration > Clear table, or Design > Blast design > Database > Administration > Clear table, or...

• In the Function Chooser, type CLEAR TABLE, and press ENTER.

Fields on the Select the database table to process form.

Field	Description
Table name	The name of the database table that you wish to clear.

You are prompted to delete all data in the table.

Output

The table structure remains intact, but all of the data in the table is removed.
